Jesus’ Resurrection

Jesus’ Resurrection and Victory Over Death

The Triumph of Christ Over Sin and the Grave.

Jesus was crucified, buried, and rose on the third day (Luke 24:6-7).

The empty tomb was discovered by women followers (Matthew 28:1-6).

Jesus appeared to many, proving His resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:3-8).

The Significance of the Resurrection

Jesus' resurrection is the foundation of the Christian faith (1 Corinthians 15:17).

It proves His divinity and victory over sin and death.

Fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies (Psalm 16:10, Isaiah 53:10-11).

A promise of eternal life for believers (John 11:25-26).

Biblical Account of the Resurrection

Jesus was crucified, died, and was buried (Matthew 27:50-60).

On the third day, He rose from the dead (Luke 24:6-7).

Women were the first to witness the empty tomb (Mark 16:1-6).

Jesus appeared to His disciples, proving He was alive (John 20:19-29).

Victory Over Death and Sin

Jesus conquered death, breaking its power (1 Corinthians 15:55-57).

Through Him, believers receive forgiveness and eternal life (Romans 6:23).

His resurrection assures us of our future resurrection (1 Thessalonians 4:14).

We are called to live in the power of His victory (Romans 8:11).

The Call to Faith and Hope

Faith in Jesus brings salvation (Romans 10:9).

Jesus' resurrection invites us to believe and trust in Him (John 14:6).

We have hope beyond this life because of His victory (1 Peter 1:3).

The Great Commission: Share the Good News (Matthew 28:19-20).
